Statistical Console tables and graphs

Graphs

Graphs consist of the following components:

Graph Slider

Sliders

The sliders in StatCon control the horizontal and vertical axes of the graph where the vertical axis is the value of the data (in whatever units the graph is in) and the horizontal axis is time. Each graph has an attached horizontal and vertical slider. The horizontal slider specifies the timeline of the data displayed and the vertical slider specifies the bounds of the data displayed.

Graph Indicator

Indicators

Each graph's attached vertical slider contains an indicator for that graph. At runtime, the rightmost edge of the graph data (commonly the most recent data) is displayed by the indicator (the bar on the slider colored the same as the graph). When looking at old data, left-clicking on a horizontal slider causes a vertical black line to appear. This black line defines the point of data the indicators display.

Graph Table

The graph table is a summary of the graph information and allows easy configuration of the graph. Each graph takes up a single row in the table.

Controls table

Controls in the statistical model are shown in the Control table. Each control takes up a single row in the table.

Common Base Event Log table

Any Common Base Event messages stored within a Trace Agent appear in the Common Base Event Log. Only the following information is written to the log:

Common Base Event Log Table

Common Base Event messages can be saved as a text log using the save button on the left of the log. If at run-time messages are coming in too fast to read, the lock button on the left of the log can be used to temporarily block new messages and show a static log.
